About Nerd Nook:
When I was a student pursuing a future within the IT industry, I wanted to make a platform that would allow me to share my journey learning and working with tools of the trade. This is a website I made for that purpose, and will be a showcase of my projects and pursuits along my journey.
During my studies, we worked with many different classmates on a variety of tasks and projects. Each one has been a comfortable place to work productively in. This level of comfort when working on projects is reminiscent of a pillow fort, which became the name of many groups to symbolize just that. In honour of that concept, this website under the name Pillow Tech was created, in hopes of allowing readers to become more comfortable with advancements in tech and IT just like my previous group members.
Since then, I have branched outwards and wanted to extend this platform to more nerdy hobbies and interests than just IT and tech. Even with the change to Nerd Nook, the purpose of this site remains the same; provide a cozy place to get down and nerdy!
